Bassrush is happy to announce that we’re once again returning to host the Neon Garden Drum & Bass stage at this year’s Electric Daisy Carnival! After bringing out Zinc, Marky, Pendulum, and many more last year we knew we had to come correct in 2008 to keep all the bassheads happy. We think you’ll agree with us that this year’s lineup is massive in all senses of the word! After absolutely smashing it at Nocturnal last year, we decided it was high time DJ Hype experience Electric Daisy Carnival first hand. The reigning champ of stateside D&B returns as well as Dieselboy embarks on a world tour in support of his new album “Substance D.” THe quartz lock kid a.k.a. DJ Friction touches down at this year’s Electric Daisy Carnival too, bringing with him loads of exclusive tunes from his amazing label Shogun Audio. Mr. Metalheadz himself, the one like Goldie, returns after a scheduling conflict prevented him from performing at last year’s Electric Daisy Carnival too! It’s been a while since the Valve boys graced an L.A. sound system, so for good measure we’ve brought the legendary Dillinja and Lemon D back after a 2 year hiatus. Lastly, after devastating dancefloors worldwide for a number of years, rising stateside champs Evol Intent have assembled an amazing live P.A. that ranks among as one of the best live D&B shows we’ve seen in a long time. so where was dillinja and lemon d? no one said what happened, i drove from phoenix for them, but hype and goldie threw down hard. friction killed it as drunken hype chimmed in with the transformer scratches like he always does.
