Foreign Concept Smashes the Dance Once Again

The entire Critical Music family has been smashing it lately, so much so that we imagine there’s a little behind-the-scenes competition to continually outdo each other with each and every release. With InsideInfo and Kasra’s collaborative Circuits project stealing center stage this year, it’s only right that Foreign Concept comes through with his own brand of hypnotizing dancefloor illness to elevate the bar once again.

Spread across five tracks, Foreign Concept’s Gozen EP wastes no time cutting to the marrow with a heavyweight selection featuring FC in solo mode as well as a collaborative gem with Monty. From the tech-stepping illness of “Kilmersdon” to the swirling finesse of “Black Tea” and “Gozen,” the Critical stalwart proves he’s able to smash it out for the dance with just the right touch of dopamine-inducing atmosphere to keep it locked for all the chin-strokers out there.

Rounding out the EP is the bubbling “Ron Millonario” featuring Monty in on the action before Kasra and InsideInfo surface as Circuits with their stunning remix of Foreign Concept and Halogenix’s already sublime “Waiheke Wine Club.”

The entire EP is a powerful statement of the power that Foreign Concept has at his fingertips and already has us itching for a full-length album project from him in the coming year. This one drops July 13 so lock your pre-order in here.
