Bassrush Wednesdays Ending 10/31, Back To One Offs!

We know this is short notice, but due to a variety of reasons we’ve decided to make this Halloween celebration the last Bassrush Wednesday for a while. That’s right, October 31st marks our last weekly event for the forseeable future. In short, we feel our weekly event has lost something over the past several months and we’re taking this opportunity to re-focus our energy toward returning to producing Bassrush massives and larger one-off D&B events. Look for these larger events to return in full force in 2008 when we’ll release full details about our first show in the new (but old) format. In the meantime, we’re still going to close out 2007 with three remaining events: Aphrodite on Wednesday November 14th, J Majik & Baron on Thanksgiving Eve (Wednesday November 21st) and Dieselboy, AK1200, Hive and more on New Year’s Eve at Together As One. We hope you’ll join us to close out the year at these holiday season events. In the meantime, get ready for a big 2008 in Los Angeles Drum & Bass and keep your eyes on bassrush.com for all the details!

    If you feel like funktion has lost something over the last few months, it has.. You wanna know why? Its the new venue you chose, when bassrush was at the vangaurd i went almost every week.. The system there was amazing.. I remember when chase and status was there, the bass was hitting so hard the tables were shaking on to the dance floor!! The parking at the vangaurd was awesome.. I went to cinespace once and the parking sucked.. I was afraid my car would get towed, so i had to pay 40 bucks for safe parking!! Because of that i never went again.. So in conclusion, find another spot equal to the vangaurd and more people will come!!
