One of bass music’s most badass producers, 12th Planet, teams up with Megalodon and 50 Carrot for a heavy dub tune from SMOG Records for all you head bangers out there! Although the track has been highly anticipated, chances are you’ve probably heard this tune if you’ve been hitting the bass music festivals this summer.
12th Planet is a jack-of-all-trades, taking on many titles such as producer, DJ and co-owner of the Los Angles based music label SMOG Records. He has built up one of the largest followings in bass music with his swampy raw sounds. This year at EDC Las Vegas, his fans patiently waited out for nearly 40 minutes in the dark, while the stage was being fixed just to see him play—if that it’s loyalty, I’m not sure what is.
For this savage tune, 12th has pulled a few up-and-coming artists from the more underground scene. Although 50 Carrot is a fairly new name, he still has a lot to show for with his unique style. Taking things a step further, Megalodon comes in for the monster rinse out on the breakdown!
