Dallas, Texas native and master of pulverizing bass music AFK returns to Los Angeles-based Firepower Records with yet another massive EP.
Opening Disconnected with “Gleam Eyes,” AFK reveals a cheerfully eccentric tone that quickly takes a turn off the deep end into the depths of bass oblivion. Drizzled with a gritty buzzsaw synth that hit in all the right spots, this one will take you on an emotional ride before “Coffin” turns up the heat with a much more abrasive approach. Featuring Crichy Crich on the mic, the vocals keep the energy popping while the AFK-fuelled bottom end is sure to have the masses heaving at the rails when played on the dancefloor.
Up next, “Too Late” brings on the ominous vibes with an intense bassline that creeps under perfectly organized synth patterns that rise up and sucker punch you when you least expect it. “Unshakeable” delivers the dreamy feels with euphoric vocals that lull you into a heavenly state of head-banging.
