Onyx Recordings continues to ride high after winning the Best Newcomer Label of 2021 in the Drum and Bass Arena Awards. The well-deserved honor seems to have given the imprint a proper boost of energy as it charges into the new year with yet another monster release, this time from the Los Angeles based Airglo.
Having been bubbling just below the surface within VIP circles as one to watch, 2022 seems to be the year the producer breaks out in a major way. With his Innit EP for Onyx, the flex is on full display as the ever-prolific producer churns through six cuts of exquisitely crafted bits that range from heavyweight rollers to high-energy jump-up hitters and dreamy liquid grooves.
Steadily climbing its way up the charts since its release last Friday, support has been pouring in from international superstars like Noisia all the way through to hometown heroes stoked that another Stateside producer is making big moves on the dnb tip.
