Effortlessly proving once again that the underground is alive and well, Los Angeles-based label FreshBlood conjures up another release, this time around UK-based producers Badphaze and HizzleGuy. The result is theaptly titled Murder Time EP, and it’s set to cause absolute mayhem.
Opening up the project proper, “Game Over” comes in full force with a video game inspired intro that effortlessly leads straight into a suspenseful buildup that keep your senses on high alert like something out of a thriller movie. Next thing you know, the bassline comes in hot and knocks the wind right out of you with its old school vibes. Don’t get too comfortable, though. “Game Over” will shake you to your core with each and every drop before the title track gets straight to business with a deep, spicy bassline not meant for faint of heart.
