The multifaceted drum & bass wizard known as Break releases the first sampler from his forthcoming Simpler Times LP. Longtime collaborative vocalist Kyo gives the title track a touch of pure liquid class with her pristine and airy vocal presence while the flip, “Top Shooter,” offers a tougher vibe with steady bassline pressure and Break’s signature intricate percussion arrangement.
While the digital release hit the shelves earlier this month, Symmetry is offering vinyl collectors a 12-inch version due July 24. Fans should definitely pick up this plate considering “Top Shooter” will not find a home on the full album release.
