Yogi’s monster collab with Pusha T has been smashing up dancefloors this past year in a number of various forms. Skrillex and TrollPhace have been dumping a filthy dubstep refix of it while Moody Good has been pushing his own dank trap remix. In what can only be described as a union of epic proportions, the entire crew link up Voltron style and stitch their respective remixes into an out-of-this-world VIP already barreling its way through the streets like an unchained beast.
While normally we’d be hitting you with a review of the tune itself, it’s the super-ill video accompanying the release that has captured our attention. Unfolding like some bizarre urban Clockwork Orange fantasy with a healthy dose of the old ultraviolence thrown in for good measure, the video follows a crew of contemporary droogs as they spread riotous mayhem, destruction, and eye-popping dance moves across an unnamed cityscape. While Pusha T is rolling deep through the first half of the flick, it’s when he is revealed to actually be Dennis Rodman (WTF?) that the narrative takes an even more bizarre turn.
We won’t spoil all the fun so be sure to check the video below to make up your own mind as to the meaning of the proceedings. If you’re feeling the beats then be sure to snag the single—out now—so you can wild out on it from the comfort of your own home.
