Having earned a well-deserved reputation for using its platform to shed light on a wide range of old and new-school producers, this latest release features Fresh Blood looking to some of its usual suspects, while also welcoming some new producers like Bukez Finezt, Code Pandorum, Dack Janiels, Diskirz, London Nebel, Stabby, and more to the roster.
From start to finish, the massive 17-track Fresh Blood Volume 4 offers up a diverse plate of savory bass music, venturing off deep into the realms of oblivion. Somnium Sound makes a special appearance with his brain-rattling “Fate & Fortune” that starts off with a luring intro before quickly diving right off the deep end with a relentless bassline that’ll shake you to your core. Of course, it wouldn’t be a proper Fresh Blood compilation without some good ol’ grimey riddim as Point.Blank delivers his weighty “Run the Riddim” sure to make the rounds on the festival circuit this year.
Other highlights from the compilation include “Walla Milli Dolla” from the bass heavy duo, London Nebel. This fan favorite shows no mercy right from the start with its neck-breaking bassline, keeping things nice and spicy! And unless you’ve been hiding under a rock, you’ve noticed the massive waves YAKZ has made in the scene lately, and luckily for us, he offers up “Access Key” as an addition to the compilation featuring a high energy and ruthless bassline we’ve come to recognize the promising producer for.
