Champagne Drip Still Loves You

The philosophy driving the success of Los Angeles-based producer Sam Pool, aka Champagne Drip, can best be described as “innovation springs from inspiration.” Stemming from a diverse and rich 10-year background in drum & bass, dubstep, and trap-oriented music production under the moniker SPL, Pool realized in 2014 that he had pushed his SPL project to its sonic limits, forcing him to adapt and evolve by creating a new project that explored lighter textures and richer melodies. As Champagne Drip, Pool has collected, reassembled and repurposed the best elements of blippy 8-bit sounds, arpeggios, and lush ‘80s synths, resulting in a one-of-a-kind, tropical and uplifting project.

Champagne Drip’s newest release, Of Course I Still Love You, (which can be purchased here) sees the producer excitingly pulling together inspiration from his former SPL project, tying his old musical roots into his current, future-leaning moniker. Released through Saturate Records, Of Course I Still Love You boasts four brand new original tracks from Champagne Drip that showcase a myriad of warm wobbles, warped arpeggios, ‘80s synths and wonky hip-hop beats, followed by two remixes from Starkbot and Sayer.
