Over the years, Circus Records has been known to push unique up-and-coming producers into the spotlight. Next up in the rotation is the Leeds-based Chime. Having made his presence known in the scene with a series of high-profile releases on some of the largest labels, it’s only proper that the 22-year-old producer’s latest project has made its way to Circus Records.
Pulling much of his inspiration from his experience in the gaming world over the years, Chime follows up this unique approach with the aptly titled “Facepunch.” Coming in hot with a melodic intro, “Facepunch” taps into the video game vibe he does so well and quickly takes a turn into the heavier side of things with a drop that’s sure to break necks. Once the tune kicks in and the bass starts rumbling, the tune levels up and hits it hard enough to satisfy all the seasoned bass heads out there craving a proper bass-saturated track!
