Having become as equally well-known for the remix work as they are for their originals, the same duo that brought the golden touch to everyone from Paloma Faith to Example returns to the lab once again with a massive re-working of Eelke Kleijn’s “Mistakes.”
With the smoke still clearing from their last chart-topping single “Faithless,” this one seems destined to fire its way to the top in a similar fashion as it strips it down to the very best elements of the emotionally-driven original before completely rewriting the melody and elevating the whole package to an entirely new level of intensity.
It’s another tune destined for mainstream crossover status and one that only makes us even more anxious to hear the results of the DC Breaks LP that is rumored to be on the way.
