The fifth release on their self-titled imprint has arrived and Delta Heavy show no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
Building on what they call that “quintessential Delta Heavy sound” that swerves between the dark and the light, the cinematic vibes are in full effect as the sweeping emotion at the core propels us into the dancefloor proper.
As Delta Heavy tell us, “We actually wrote the instrumental with a different vocal but felt the two didn’t align well. We stumbled upon an older, unused acapella we had lying around the hard drive from one of our favourite vocalists and it ended up suiting the mood of the track perfectly. You may recognise her voice from our tracks ‘White Flag’ and ‘Ghost’, it’s quite iconic!”
