Every time the crew drop an album it’s guaranteed to be rammed with dancefloor anthems and straight-up beast-mode vibrations, but there is no preparing for the heat they are unleashing on this one. Never ones to rest on their laurels, Drumsound and Bassline Smith seem hell-bent on elevating their game and coming with their best work to date.
From the big room sound of “Come With Me” to the new-school junglism of “Warrier” and “Oujia,” the past, present, and future are mashed into a framework that hums with a palpable energy that shimmers on each and every tune.
Weighing in at a hefty 11 tracks, one of our favorite cuts off the LP is this untouchable collaboration with Prolix we’re premiering below. Aptly titled “Welcome to the Machine,” the epic dreamscape that unfolds in the studio feels just at home in a blockbuster sci-fi thriller as much as it does on the dancefloor. From the cinematic intro on through to the slow burn of the breakdown leading into the unholy drop, be sure to hit the deck when you hear this one easing in as the dancefloor is sure to explode when the tech-tinged fury of the hook is cut loose.
