The first sampler off Evil Dom and Dr. Apollo’s forthcoming Sacred Scrolls LP project is here with this dirty hip-hop laced “In The Set” leading the way. Rolling out as a straight up showcase for Evil Dom’s untouchable flow, Dr. Apollo’s trapped out beats make for a proper flex on the dancefloor with a little drum and bass flip at the middle sure to make this one earmarked as a secret weapon for those in the know.
Haunting vibes, dystopian atmospheres and a dizzying swerve lay the foundation for the up-and-coming Evil Dom who is set to break out in a major way. Having linked up with Dr. Apollo on a chance encounter after a late-night out, once Evil Dom dropped some bars for Dr. Apollo it was all over the two decided to lock horns in the studio. The resulting material was enough to not only fill out an LP-length project but caught the attention of Reid Speed who snatched the project up for her Play Me Too imprint.
