When news spread of the unexpected death of the Maryland-based dubstep DJ and producer Jordan Roche (better known as Barron), there was an overwhelming outpouring of grief from all corners of the bass music community, including touching online tributes from heads like 12th Planet, Algo and Rekoil.
In order to remember and celebrate the late artist’s contributions to the scene, the Los Angeles-based Firepower Records has pulled together a 16-track Rest In Paradise compilation of Barron’s tracks that they are offering up for free. Featuring some of Barron’s hardest hitters like “Gunshot Killa,” “Cage Match,” “Fat Bitch,” and “Stay Your Ground,” the collection quickly reminds us how talented the producer was and that his presence will be truly missed.
