A year after flexing on the deeper and more experimental tip, the Czech-based Forbidden Society returns with a full-length exploration into the left-leaning side of drum and bass with the impressive Fog Walk LP.

Perhaps best known for his hard-as-nails crossbreed and hardcore-influenced productions over the years, the move towards a more refined synaptic experience reflects an impressive evolution in the Forbidden Society sound. While he’s quick to reassure his fans that the aggressive Forbidden Society output will continue, the album offers a moment of intentional reflection and experimentation that showcases the producer’s ability to move through dancehall, halftime, hip-hop, and funk-influenced vibes with ease.

Through it all, there is the unmistakable Forbidden Society touch that elevates the project beyond merely echoing broader trends, instead reflecting an introspective and intentional desire to not only push personal boundaries but contribute to the broader evolution of bass music as a whole.

With multiple cuts already being premiered and featured on Noisia Radio, we’re stoked to be able to introduce the rugged halftime stepper known as “Speak To Me” to the Bassrush family through this exclusive premiere we’ve locked in.

The full LP drops as a Beatport and Spotify exclusive on February 8 with worldwide release to follow on February 22. Until then, wrap your head around “Speak to Me” and keep your eyes peeled on the Forbidden Society Recordings socials for more.
