The trio known as Legion and Logam continue to represent on the international stage, having surfaced on imprints as varied as Hospital, New Playaz, and Zerothree with their intricate dancefloor grooves that range from the uplifting soul side of things all the way through to minimalist tech-tinged thrillers.

With both crews impressive in their own right as solo outfits, it was their 2014 vocal anthem “House of Cards” on Ram’s sister imprint Program Music that locked in their position as heavyweights in their own right. After being signed exclusively to the Ram family, bits like “To Be Alone,” “Switch Up” and “Straight To Your Heart” steamrolled their way through as each release reveals a glimpse into their ongoing evolution as artists.

Now, as a special Valentine’s Day treat to all the Bassrush fam out there, Legion and Logam bless us with an exclusive free download that features the trio flexing once again and dropping jaws in the process.

“Valentine’s Day is our favorite time of the year,” Hunter from Legion tells us when asked about the tune. “We took a break from the FFT spectrum analyzer and focused on aiming one of Cupid’s arrow’s at our friends, family, and fans over at Bassrush, so hopefully this one hits you in the feels too because we are very excited (maybe even a bit too excited) to be delivering none other than the gift of some lovely new Legion x Logam original dubplate material directly to your earholes.”

The tune is called “Last Night” and opens the way one would expect to emerge out of a hazy dream. Celestial vibes set the tone before the crisp and tight percussion steps in and faint tech-growls swirl before sweeping through to Darron Word’s exquisite vocal drop announcing lift-off. It’s a razor-sharp ode to those who love getting lost in the deeper end of the dancefloor. The steady heartbeat of percussion and an ever-evolving growl keep pace and set the stage for this sexy beast to roll out with just the right touch of rugged edges to keep it locked for those who like it dirty.

“It’s been one of our personal favorites from the Rekordbox crate this past year,” Hunter tells us. “It features the baby-making grade vocals of Darron Word and a sexy groove that will make you want to cuff up for a long night of some serious funky, space-age love-making with that special someone (aka your USB decks and mixer).
