The wait is finally over as the first single off Funtcase’s highly anticipated DPMO 3 compilation album project is here. Aptly titled “Wasteman” this untouchable heater features Funtcase teaming up with the new blood Ravachol with none other than Vulgatron of Foreign Beggars fame gracing the lick with his inimitable flow.
Opening with a retro-tech grind, the worm-like hook sets the pace for Vulgatron’s spitfire vocals. It doesn’t take long for the walls to cave in at the drop and the sound design flex of Funtcase and Ravachol to steal the show. Stomping and grooving like an untethered beast let out the cage, the destructive dancefloor flex of “Wasteman” surprises at every turn. Just when you think you’ve got a handle on the beatdown the crew slides into the breakdown before whipping things back into a frenzy with an electrifying second drop.
