If an artist has more than one reason to celebrate, it’s Evol Intent, the trio made up of Gigantor, Knick and the Enemy. Their tune, “Under the Radar,” has reached 100K plays on SoundCloud, their podcast is alive and kicking, and they are also preparing for a European tour this October.
“Under the Radar,” a ragga-inspired, 170 BPM, half-time drum & bass “smasher,” as Michael (Gigantor) likes to call it, carries a mix of genres with a hint of skullstep.
“We are really pleased at how much the tune has been embraced amongst our fan base and new listeners,” Michael told Bassrush. “‘Jim Skynner,’ a collaboration with Eye-D also went up with much acclaim.”
The song is part of an ongoing series of free SoundCloud downloads, released every two weeks through this fall. This Wednesday, August 13, “Cognitive Divergence” will be featured. Of course, fans can always drop in for a listen to their “Evolcast” mix series at the end of the every month.
