Kicking off the four-tracker is the title track “My People,” a mellow burner that takes a quick turn once you’ve settled in, speeding things up before the bass kicks in to get you going. “Cheezus” and “Back” follow up with a similar format, as the chill future house vibes taking center stage before they’re combined with nerve-stimulating synths and bass drops designed to keep the dancefloor moving. “She Goes” closes out the EP with some dark and aggressive synths that sizzle with upbeat drum kicks to keep your feet moving.
