Originally launched in 2012 as a promotional outlet, duploc.com has continued to strengthen their mission to unearth new talent and genre-defying music by evolving into an equally trailblazing record label, DUPLOC. Over the last five years, duploc.com has stood as a leading tastemaker within the dubstep scene by focusing its attention on the unconventional, uncommon and multifaceted aspects of the genre’s many sounds; characteristics that they have now translated to releases of their own. Following its cardinal release, 5 Years of duploc.com, DUPLOC is gearing up for their first release of 2018 with Netherlands-based badman Hebbe, DUPLOC020.
Rotterdam-based Hebbe has truly emerged from the shadows through his recent release on Subway Recordings as well as with his forthcoming releases on J:Kenzo’s Artikal Music UK and Sleeper’s Crucial Recordings. However, Hebbe makes his current introduction with DUPLOC for its 20th release, out on January 15. Hebbe’s forthcoming two-track collection flexes the promising up-and-comer’s obscure and distinguished flow, boasting the tracks “Float Yourself” and “Sword Art.” Following the recent unveiling of “Sword Art,” Bassrush is pleased to premiere the release’s first track “Float Yourself;” which takes listeners on an incessantly progressing journey in which drenched deep toned frequencies prevail.
