In case you missed it, DJ Snake and Yellow Claw dropped a massive 27-track release last Friday that featured a wide-range of artists going all in on their festival killer known as “Ocho Cinco.” With Bassrush faves like Kayzo, SAYMYNAME, Barely Alive, Rickyxsan, Riot Ten, and so many more representing we knew we were in for a treat, but nothing prepared us for the illness that HeRobust brings to the proceedings.
Taking on the original and laying his own trapped-out smackdown, HeroBust injects some alien DNA into the already stunning original that immediately sets this one to stun mode. Bass bombs aside, HeRobust focuses on the mid-range hook that sinks its claws in before pulling up for a breather on the second breakdown. Staying true to the DJ Snake manifesto, it’s a hands-in-the-air moment as the Arabian flavors take control and the energy regroups for another smashing pass at the dancefloor. Let this one roll all the way through as HeRobust hits the switches on the second drop and mashes it down with a four-on-the-floor pummeling before pulling the trigger and dipping back into the sweat-induced tune proper.
