Now, the Greensboro-based producer and DJ is on the brink of huge success with his unique touch on gritty bass music and tech-infused beats that have gained attention of some of the most influential procurers in electronic music, including Deadmau5.
Opening the project with a collaboration track, “Clear” offers up a euphoric introduction that showcases the otherworldly vocals from singer TIAAN while swiftly taking listeners down a journey to the unknown. Soon after, a minimalistic yet impactful beat seeps into the forefront and transcends listeners to beautifully crafted world of hard hitting bassline paired with a groovy beat to keep you movin’ from start to finish. Next up, HEYZ collaborates with another talented vocalist for “Castaway King” that hooks you right from the get go with hypnotizing vocals brought to you by MAYLYN. But this whimsical introduction quickly shifts gears and heads to the darker side of the horizon with two drops that are sure to induce a trippy experience that cannot be felt, but simply experienced. Closing out the EP, “In Your Arms” brings a higher energy beat in the form of two soul snatching drops to keep you on your toes.
