Black Carl! and VCTRE have made the continued success of their collaborative pairing official by uniting under the Integrate name. With both artists having taken the scene by storm in solo and collaborative mode these past few years, the leftfield leaning output of the pair when they get together has been nothing short of breathtaking.
Based out of Birmingham, Alabama, the dirty south influence runs as deep as the interstellar journeys the pair is determined to take us on pull from an eclectic body of influences that range from leftfield drum and bass to dubstep and trap. One listen to last year’s “Do It Live” should give new fans a sense of the kind of groundwork the pair have laid as that tune seemed to prove that the synergy between the two artists was no flash in the pan and here to stay. Somewhere between then and now the duo decided to make it official with a side hustle designed to “integrate” their unique collaborative vision into a jaw-dropping project of its own.
Promising that Integrate will be a freeform experiment unbound by genre boundaries or expectations, the pair are determined to see where each studio session leads no matter what the vibe or genre.
