Jauz recently teased his fans on social media about his upcoming album, The Wise and The Wicked, which will feature 23 original tracks and unmatched collaborations. The conceptual album is a pivotal moment for Jauz, who first exploded in the scene with “Feel The Volume” in 2014. Since then, he has carved a permanent space for himself in dance music, with the support of his devoted Shark Squad fans.
After revealing the full tracklist for his album, Jauz released the last track from his album, “Super Fly,” which features the legendary German producer 666 and gives fans another intriguing taste of the dynamic album.
“Super Fly” is a funkified bass track packed with disordered synths that is described by Jauz as the middle ground between crazy club banger and emotional experimental music. It’s heavy bass flare and percussion elements create a playful, yet hard-hitting sound, which is the perfect blend for any setting.
“When I’m writing music, half of my brain wants to write fun, crazy bangers for parties, clubs, fests, etc. This is represented by ‘The Wicked.’ The other half of the time I want to write emotional, intelligent, experimental music that feeds the ‘inner artist’ in myself, which is represented by ‘The Wise.’ The middle ground, which is where I strive to really be, is a blend of the melodic, emotional parts of my music paired with high-energy drops and climaxes. This is represented by ‘The Untitled,’” explains Jauz.
The Wise and The Wicked album, which is set to release on August 31, consists of five chapters, using the tracks and their order to tell the intense story of the dystopia dreamt up by Jauz himself. Jauz has collaborated with a variety of artists on this album including Kiiara, Krewella, Tisoki, Snails, Adventure Club, DJ Snake, Ducky and many more so lock in your pre-order here.
