As the Critical Music family prepares to descend on Las Vegas for their EDC debut, label boss Kasra links up with one of the finest heavy-hitters in the Critical family for a jaw-dropping, five-track EP that already has us practicing some funky dance moves.
Reflecting the broad and diverse sound that the imprint has become known for, Kasra and Enei deliver a masterful selection of cuts from the stuttering hypnotism of bits like “Words” “Arcana” on through to the beast growling to be cut loose from “Inside The Box.”
For the proper dancefloor pressure most will be heading straight for the all-out floor-burner known as “Greed,” with the DRS-inflected “Overthinking” not far behind. Both tracks center on wicked tech-funk vibes that grind it out incessantly, swirling and evolving in a way that gradually amps up the pressure to the breaking point. Future funk at its finest!
