The French duo known as KOWZ kick-start the new year with a massive EP on deck and this heavyweight rib-rattler “Wrath” leading the way.
Having launched as a project only a few years ago, the duo has quickly caught the attention of fans who resonate with the likes of Apashe, Black Tiger Sex Machine, and Kai Wachi.
The dark and twisted vibe of their productions are geared straight at the dancefloor and as 2022 dawns, KOWZ prepares their biggest release to date with a whopping seven-track EP dropping this Friday on Intercession Records.
With an awe-dropping ability to fuse cinematic atmospheres with earth-quaking bass and dubstep vibes, the first salvo from the EP that we’re premiering today should give you a proper dose of what the rest of the EP has in store.
With each tune centered around one of the seven deadly sins, “Wrath” lives up to its name with razor-sharp beats and whiplash-inducing bass drops. A tune designed to make you and the squad go beastmode, the flex on this one is sure to bring down the house no matter if you’re in a club or hammering the rails with the masses at a festival.
As KOWZ tells us: “The number 7 is present all around us in our daily lives and we are not always fully aware of it. Symbolizing luck by excellence, the number ‘seven’ finds many occurrences in the scientific, mathematical, astronomical, theological, geographical, sports or artistic fields. The number 7 is sometimes considered a “magic number” or even sacred.
The deadly sins are part of us, we can all recognize ourselves more or less in one of these 7 vices. One of the 7 sins stands out more than the others and they are also the cause and therefore the head of the other sins. Each of these sins taken to the extreme can lead to death and can allow all crimes to be committed. Each of these songs was created under the influence of specific moods and emotions. You will be able to travel through this album through the 7 deadly sins and identify the emotions you will feel on each of these songs.”
Put on your armor and dive to the dark depths of “Wrath” below and be sure to lock in your copy of the full ‘Seven EP’ dropping on all digital platforms this Wednesday for the full bass-fuelled spiritual experience.
