With the first of the album series launched in June, the third volume in the Bass Infection album series on Mainframe is perhaps the heaviest one yet. From Nakwan and Kryptomedic unleashing the beast on “Bring the Funk Back,” to the youngblood Kutlo from Bratislava steamrolling his way through the proceedings on the aptly titled “The Raid,” you know this one’s all killer with no filler.
As if that wasn’t enough, Belgrade newcomers Netics bring on the old-school rolling vibes on “Dropship” while Body & Soul conjure up a shivering cloud of killer bees on “The Swarm.” Rugged vibes reign supreme throughout and yet it’s the ever-essential fury that TR Tactics drops in the midst of the storm that induces a proper “Chaos State.” Filthy tech-funk driven grooves make this one shiver and shake in all the right places, making for yet another release to buy on sight from Disaszt’s Mainframe imprint.
Out August 7 so keep your eyes and ears peeled for this one to drop.
