With yet another heavy and technically precise release under his belt, Mastadon proves he’s a force to be reckoned with.
“Machete” opens the EP up with a sinister introduction that quickly guides listeners into an abyss of proper annihilation. Centered on a bassline designed to slay everything in its path, Mastadon lays the groundwork for what’s to come for the rest of the project. Following suit, the title track wreaks havoc with another chest bumping drop, drizzled with heavy merciless jabs that leave you gasping for air and hungry for more. “Get Ready” proves that Mastadon knows how to keep things spicy as he drops an upbeat rhythm sure to keep the dancefloor bobbing from side to side before “Dong” closes out the project proper with heavy mech vibes and a breakdown that’ll send chills down your spine!
