Matrix & Futurebound’s Top Drum & Bass Cuts of 2015
Matrix & Futurebound’s Top Drum & Bass Cuts of 2015

As the end of the year approaches, we tapped legendary duo Matrix & Futurebound for a glimpse into the tracks that they rate as the best of 2015.

InsideInfo & Mefjus “Pulsation” (Viper)
The simplicity and groove of this track are what make it so special. InsideInfo is the master of twisting out sounds and bass while Mefjus is king of the sonics, which make this duo and this tune in particular stand out.

Dimension “Whipslap” (MTA)
Dimension has had a fantastic year, dropping huge single after huge single. This one was the pick of the bunch for us as it continues to slay any dancefloor in its way.

Hamilton “Track 8” (Ram)
We never get sick of listening to this one, as it takes us back to the classic Nineties sound of Ram. That cheeky lead line gets us every time.

Matrix & Futurebound vs. Tantrum Desire “The Shadows” (Technique)
We had to throw this in as it’s been ever present in our sets throughout the year. We’re big fans of the Tantrum boys and were really pleased with how this one came out.

Grum “Straight To Your Heart” (Legion & Logam Remix) (Zero Three)
We really rate Legion & Logam—they always deliver great organic vocal tracks that cut it on the floor. This remix is one of their best.
