Flexing his engineering skills on a number of levels, the young Russian producer merges sweeping atmospherics and razor-sharp production with pulsating grooves throughout on his Galaxy Swimming EP.
The dynamic chill of cuts like “Never Can Say” and “Vicious Circle” unfold like restless dreamscapes tempered with growling beasts stalking the shadows. Fans of Break will instantly be captivated by the way the percussive elements sit in the mix, elevating the dynamic core of each tune with a call and response between the layers that has us already fiending for more.
“Eternity” features Nami linking up with fellow Russian producer Black Barrel for an epic funky twist that dips into untouchable murky roller territory before the title track, “Galaxy Swimming,” brings it all home and merges sweeping celestial atmospheres with an intricately crafted and ever-evolving percussive groove that reveals the very best of what the young producer has to offer.
