Known for dialing it in for the dancefloor with that crisp and heavy sound, NC-17 doesn’t disappoint as he and the crew step up first with the strychnine-laced “Predator.” From the deceptively hypnotic intro on through to the stomping beast proper, there’s no doubt the crowd will be heaving at the rails when this one drops. The flip, “Night of the Zombies,” is a touch more playful but equally heavy as NC-17 locks horns with Fade and Emery and cranks up the apocalyptic vibrations via a swirling atmosphere and crooked mid-range hook that sticks and moves with cinematic fervor.
