As if the original Skrillex and Nero remix of Nero’s own “Promises” back in 2011 wasn’t epic enough, the Texas-based Prismo unloads a heavyweight “Prismodified” version of his own just in time for the holiday festivities around the corner. Having earned his stripes with releases on imprints ranging from Monstercat to Buygore, Dim Mak, and Firepower, it should come as no surprise that the ever-impressive producer is already beginning to set his sights on elevating his game once again in the new year.

But before we get to 2018, the genre-defying sound of Prismo is going to be taking over the airwaves as evidenced by the first in a wave of bootlegs and originals about to see the light of day. Released as part of his self-proclaimed #Prismas, his “Promises” bootleg we’re featuring below is one of many secret weapons that the youngblood has been guarding carefully in his private arsenal. Taking the cinematic fervor of the original and bringing on the goosebump-inducing emo feels, the chunky bottom end and twisted groove at the core give this one a welcome extra-dose of Prismo fuel to fan the flames.

Snatch this one up here while you can and keep your eyes on Prismo’s socials as his #Prismas freebies continue the celebration.
