Phace x Rawtekk “Stretch Pack” (Rockwell Remix)

Hard to believe it’s been a decade since Phace and Misanthrop’s Neosignal imprint kicked down the doors and announced itself to the drum and bass scene. Before charging into the next 10 years, the crew pause to not only celebrate but to take a look back and remind us just how much of an impact they’ve had on pushing the boundaries of the dancefloor in the process.

While their recently launched LINKED series hits the streets with a forward-looking lean, their NEOSIGNAL X series is designed to take a look back and gather up a crew of fellow heavy-hitters to put their own spin on the past. With the first of the three-part EP series due to hit the streets we were more than stoked to be able to lock in a premiere of one of our favorite cuts off the project featuring Rockwell injecting his own tech-tinged vision into the proceedings with inimitable flair.

As Phace and Misanthrop tell us: “We’re very thankful for all the support and love we’ve received for our label over the past 10 years. When we started Neosignal Recordings we wanted it to be a forward-thinking platform following a ‘quality over quantity’ attitude. These days, it’s not the easiest thing to run a label this way. Constant record output creates visibility and attention in a pretty cluttered and fast moving music market. We do believe though, that in the end the music will speak for itself. For us it always was and still is important to release the right music at the right time, and also to help push young talent and give them a channel to be heard. Looking back we’re very happy that we’re still able to follow this vision. Thanks again to all our loyal fans for their support, to all the artists for their great music and to our whole team and network for making it all possible.”

To get a sense of the wide range of vibes part one of the project is pulling from, expect some of your favorite Neosignal cuts to get the remix treatment from the likes of Levela, Halogenix, Kimyan Law, Phace and Affe Maria, and of course the synaptic fireball called Rockwell who flips the script on Phace and Rawtekk’s “Stretch Pack.” Dive in to the beats below and be sure to lock in your pre-order of the first in the three-part NEOSIGNAL X series here.
