The seventy-fifth release on Artificial Intelligence’s ever-essential Integral Records imprint sees the long-awaited return of Philth and Phil Tangent under their Phil:osophy and it’s some of their best work to date.
Five tunes of absolute liquid-leaning dancefloor bliss form the backbone of the First Light EP with the title track offering a glimpse at the fine line between the euphoric and heavy vibes the pair conjure up so well. Still, it’s this bit we’re premiering below that is hitting us in all the right places. Featuring Sense MC on vocal duties, the aptly titled “Peace of Mind” swerves through a dreamlike soundscape of warm basslines and crispy percussive elements riding a sublime wave of melodic elements.
