It’s been some time since the young producer known as Phiso has gifted his fans with an all-original project. Well, the time has come for the talented producer to disrupt the system once more with his suitably titled, four-track Disrespect EP for NSD: Black Label. Since his start in the production world, Phiso has released notable tracks that have been welcomed with open arms and certainly pleased the die-hard bass lovers, so it goes without saying that the Disrespect EP is sure to gain some serious recognition as soon as it hits the dancefloor.
Opening the project with the title track, Phiso seamlessly returns to his rockstar status with an intriguing buildup that quickly moves into bass oblivion with crunchy drops that don’t disappoint. “Pattern Screamer” follows suit a with a glitch-inspired beat that’s quickly overpowered with jabbing basslines sure to induce some serious bass face. Next up, “Brute Force” doesn’t hold back as it showcases a simpler production that flexes with its bone chilling bassline and gnarly growls through two soul crushing drops. Polishing off the project, “Tiamat” pulls out all the stops for this mech-inspired track with an unforgiving bassline that’s sure to leave you speechless.
