Having earned their keep with a series of high-profile releases on imprints like Blackout, Trendkill, Bad Taste, Santoku, and Program, it’s obvious that the Ukranian duo known as Agressor Bunx is here to stay.

Alongside their prominent rise and prolific output, the crew have become a favorite in the Eatbrain camp, no doubt in part due to the continued success of their now-classic The Order EP from last year. With the dawn of a new year upon us, Agressor Bunx reveal that they’ve been hard at work in the lab and are prepared to take things to the next level with the release of their debut LP, Properties of Addition.

Designed to showcase that aggressive, no-holds-barred sound on the deep, dark and techy side of the drum & bass genre, the duo comes correct with an EP-length album sampler that flexes hard with a bold and diverse glimpse into what the album proper is sure to hold. Featuring four tracks, tunes like “Bleak Shadows,” “The Offering,” and “Ninja” revel in the fierce and predatory dreamscapes of a world gone bad, all while pummeling the dancefloor with heavyweight grooves.

One of our favorite cuts off the sampler is this twisted hi-energy stomper, “Radical Sound.” Emerging from the shadows like a lurching beast come to life after a long slumber, this razor-tipped killer wastes no time getting right to curb-stomping with a shivering bottom end and a spiraling intro that’s sure to blow a few gaskets along the way.
