Don’t put away your summer gear just yet! DJ Patife and the V Recordings crew are kicking down the doors with this massive album compilation project straight from the sun-drenched beaches of Brazil. Designed to celebrate the week-long SUNANDBASS festival coming up in Sardinia, Italy next weekend, Patife hand-selects a rowdy crew from his Brazilian motherland to represent those hot and heavy vibes.

As Patife tells it, “From 2009 to 2013, I was away from the industry due to marriage, kids and other personal stuff, plus a lot of things were changing in the scene and I it seemed like a natural time for me to take a break. Then in 2014, I had my first SUNANDBASS experience and it was a game changer for me in so many ways! As a drum & bass lover, it was hard to believe that for a whole week an event took place in a paradise named San Teodoro in Sardinia (Italy)!”

Inspired by the energy he experienced on his first and subsequent trips to the festival, Patife has gathered up 19 tracks from top-notch talent from the likes of L-Side, Alibi, Drumagick, DJ Chap, with non-Brazilian V Recordings stalwarts like Command Strange and MC Fats getting in on the fun as well.
