Following up on their epic Jungle Consumes Everything EP on Playaz late last last year, Konichi and Decimal Bass (aka Annix) return with a rough and rugged six-track The Dog Knows EP sure to be smashing down doors all summer long. While the crew mashes up the dance in solo mode on filthy bits like “If I Told You I’d Have to Kill You,” “Maintain” or Konichi’s “Get It,” it’s the wild and woolly collaborators they’ve rounded up for some sinister studio fun that will really have the heads perking up and fiending for more.

From Decimal Bass and Vacuum’s raved-out sucker punch in the form of “Invasion” or the epic jump-up gem “Cold Killer,” this is one EP that delivers on all fronts. Still, it’s the title track featuring Prestige that has us stomping and stepping, eager to hear the bubbling beast at the core crushing and lurching its way across the dancefloor.
