Hometown heroes Legion & Logam step up to the big leagues with their first full release on the mighty Ram Records. Already responsible for being the first US act into break into the Ram roster, the trio have been crushing it with a steady output of dreamy rollers on both the proving ground of Ram’s sister imprint, Program, as well as being featured on a series of compilation projects.
Still, the time has come for the trio to launch their first standalone single on the imprint and it’s all that we’d hoped for. A worthy successor to their 2014 anthem, “House of Cards,” the trio go all out with the celestial dancefloor vibes sure to have those hands up reaching for the sky.
While “Coming Home” builds a shivering groove around Adam Wright’s heart-wrenching vocals, the interstellar journey on the flip in the form of “When the Stars Fall” is the one that’s been our go-to in the office. With Wendy Johnson’s vocals bringing on the goosebumps, Legion and Logam craft an epic soundscape that drives home an untouchable groove and all-around cinematic experience.
It’s a massive look for the Stateside crew, one that has us already excited to see if they can transform their vision into an album length project in the year to come. Until then, strap in and enjoy the ride as this one drops August 4 via Ram Records.
