Celebrating a decade of the “world’s largest drum & bass festival,” the Czech Republic’s Let It Roll festival has become a rite of passage for drum & bass lovers and artists the world over. As such, major labels like Ram Records play a central role in the proceedings as all the heavyweights come out of the woodwork ready to pound and grind their very best for the masses.
For those of us unable to make the leap across the pond, the FOMO is real as social media buzzes with clips and video over the duration of the three-night celebration. To help assuage that pain, Ram Records unleashes their second annual Ram Goes To Let It Roll EP series featuring the likes of Teddy Killerz, Signal, Sound in Noise, Intermatic and, of course, the inimitable René LaVice.
While the EP represents the A&R flex Ram is renowned for, alongside their ability to curate a broad and diverse range of sounds, René functions as the heavyweight anchor in the proceedings as the anabolic beast he calls “Back” breaks the chains and dumps some of that filthy grind that the UK-via-Canada transplant seems to bust with ease.
Check the exclusive premiere of this bad boy below and prepare to be dumped right into the trenches as René LaVice winds it up and kicks down the doors once again. Lock yours in here.
