First appearing as a collaborative duo on Drumsound and Bassline Smith’s Technique Recordings last year with summertime grooves in the form of “Show Me The Way” and “Reflections,” the pairing seems to have paid off as T-Phonic & Deadman have since been signed exclusively to the legendary imprint.

Flash forward to the present and the duo return with a pair of heavy dancefloor burners to prove they are able to flex on all fronts. With the sinister neuro vibes of “Scare Tactics” paving the way, it’s this VIP twist on “Reflections” that has us up in arms. Taking the old-school rave elements of the original summertime roller and then flipping them into a bouncy funk-driven cut, this one has new-school anthem written all over it and ensures that T-Phonic & Deadman are here to stay.
