Total Science continue to curate the absolute best of the deep and melodic side of the dancefloor with the latest EP on their CIA Records imprint coming from none other than FD. First appearing on the imprint in 2010, the producer has since gone on to establish himself as a talented leader of the new school. With his forthcoming Bridges EP for CIA, FD flexes with those subterranean basslines and addictive melodic hooks as only he can do. Vocalists and heavyweight producers alike make an appearance on this four-tracker with Script, Collette Warren and Soukie all representing proper, but it’s this untouchable remix from the legendary Anile that really has us moving.
Taking on last year’s collaborative hit between FD and Total Science, “Found A Reason Why,” Anile zeroes in on the groove and elevates the melodic structure into a bubbling dancefloor dream. The vocals ride the crisp percussion that Anile seems to construct with effortless ease, but as with all bits that grab you by the heartstrings, it knows how to ride that fine line between the rough and the smooth.
