Having struck gold with his remix of Potential Badboy’s “Revolution” earlier this year, Tyke keeps the dancefloor vibes alive with Dream Catcher his fifth EP for the Playaz imprint. Flexing his way through jump-up, liquid, jungle, and even some garage vibrations, Tyke isn’t holding back as the eight-track EP features an epic collaboration with Prestige as well as a pair of monster vocal-driven bits with long-time DJ Hype collaborator, Daddy Earl.
The title track is the one we’ve got our eyes on as it not only sets the pace for the EP but has us coming back for more with its addictive groove. Featuring Yisrael on the mic dropping knowledge, Tyke stirs up the dancefloor hypnotism with a shivering bassline that’s guaranteed to have the crew shaking that ass. Still, as with all Tyke bits, don’t let that bubbling bassline fool you as the uplifting vibes on the surface mash it up with just the right touch of filth on the bottom end to keep things dutty for all the ruffneck soldiers.
