Perhaps best known until now as one-half of the production duo CYNEMATIC, the Moscow-based PULS∆R steps out on the solo tip with a pair of heavyweight tunes that have those in the know ready for big moves in 2018. Following up where past releases on Viper Recordings have left off, the Russian producer’s latest works have been snatched up by Silver and his ever-essential Nemesis Recordings.
While the lead track on the release brings on the “Euphoria” of its namesake, our attention was piqued by the sizzling sci-fi-tinged thriller, “Move It Back.” While the deceptively slow burn of the intro sets a haunting vibe, once the tune proper sinks its claws in you and rockets off to the outer edges of space, there’s no turning back. From the intricate pummeling that the percussive elements deliver to the crystalline shivers the synth-driven top-line brings on, its an impressive look for PULS∆R and one that bodes well for his future in 2018 and beyond.
