The Brighton-based trio Klax have landed on the esteemed Critical Music imprint yet again with the Rekanize EP showcasing the more experimental and edgy side of their raw and transparent sound.
The title track features sharp, swinging beats, while “Flouro Riddim” spews pulsating energy and is loaded with frantic edits. “The Sway” visits deeper territories with walls of bass and eccentric details sprinkled throughout the arrangement. Bassrush favorite “Risk It” conjures immense tension with progressive drum patterns and precise edits. Finally, the digital bonus track “Cacoma” drops into a serious stepper, evoking vintage tech-step vibes with that trademark industrial twist.
This one is out January 16 so head over to the Critical shop to pre-order your copy here.
