Whenever Rene LaVice steps up with another release, bassheads around the world rejoice as they know they are about to get blessed with some serious beats. Following up on the success of his chart-topping crossover known as “The Calling,” Rene LaVice returns to Ram Records with yet another monster release guaranteed to cause some serious dancefloor mayhem.
Relocating from Toronto to London seems to have only fueled his fire as LaVice wastes no time in turning up the heat on the aptly titled “Hotblooded.” It’s a goosebump-inducing floor killer that features vocalist Ivy Mairi returning to provide a nice uplifting contrast to the dark and heavy vibes at the core. Building with a cinematic, almost playful intro before the twisting atmosphere gives way to a rock-tinged drop, this is straight up synth-metal that demands some headbanging action in order to properly enjoy the tune.
As if that wasn’t enough, the dark and winding “Bill Folderson” takes things into heavy hypnotic territory before a full-on house tune from Rene in the form of “Combustible” rounds out the single in surprising fashion. Obviously unafraid of letting the world know that he refuses to be boxed in by genre, tempo, or style, the man known as Rene LaVice once again proves why he owns dancefloors across the world.
This one just dropped so grab your copy now and prepare to grind it out all weekend long!
