When Riot Ten dumped his six-track SHEESH EP on Dim Mak Records earlier this year, we knew we were in for a heavy treat. Fast forward to the tail end of summer and Dim Mak brings it all back to where we started with some proper soul-crushing, head-cracking remix business from the likes of Cyclops, Leotrix, Decimate, and more.
Weighing in at eleven tunes, the SHEESH: The Remixes project threatens to overtake the original as the students become masters in their own right, rinsing it out with inimitable style. Where the original project drew from dubstep, trap, and experimental bass, and featured the likes of Bandlez and Whales on the collab tip, the remixes go straight for the jugular and hold nothing back as each every contributor steps up with some serious flex.
Even in the midst of all this heat, Cyclops’ re-envisioning of the title cut from the project is guaranteed to instantly sink its claws into you, refusing to let go.
Keeping the crisp and ill vocal flow over the groove, once the fuse is lit on this one, prepare to hit the deck as the bass bombs comes stomping in the most exquisite way.
It’s a creature feature of the highest order and Cyclops proving that he’s at the top of his own game.
Don’t just take our word for it, check the flex below and lock in your pre-save/order as theĀ full remix project drops tomorrow so lock yours in here.
